Đại Lễ Vesak Tại Melbourne City 2023

Trân trọng kính cung thỉnh chư vị Tăng Ni và kính mời quý đồng hương Phật Tử tham dự ngày Đại Lễ Phật Đản, Thành Đạo và Nhập Niết Bàn năm 2023.

Ngày: Thứ Bảy 13 tháng 5, 2023.
Địa điểm: 576 Victoria Parade East Melbourne. Góc đường Victoria Parade và đường Hoddle Street Catholic Leadership Center.
Giờ: Có mặt lúc 9:45 am tại địa điểm.

Có lễ sớt bát, cúng dường chư vị Tăng Ni , đi diễu hành qua phố phường tại Thành phố Melbourne cuối cùng rồi đến tòa Thị Sảnh ( Melbourne TownHall ) cùng nhau cử hành Đại Lễ.

Lưu Ý:

• Phần cúng dường chư vị Tăng Ni do Phật tử chùa Quang Minh hỉ cúng.
• Phần lunch của Phật tử do chùa Từ Quang đảm trách
• Phần nước do ban tổ chức chịu trách nhiệm.

Cách đi : Lấy xe lửa đến trạm North Richmond. Rồi lấy xe tram số 12, 109 hay Bus , 905, 906, 907 hoặc 302 tới góc đường Victoria Parade và Hoddle Street thì xuống.

Chi tiết quan trọng là nơi đây không có chỗ đậu xe mà chỉ được dừng tạm để cho người xuống mà thôi.

Buddhist Society of Victoria Vesak Day Celebration 2023

The BSV committee invites you to celebrate Vesak Day with us to commemorate the Buddha’s Birth, Enlightenment, and Final Passing (Parinibbana). This year’s event will be held at the Newbury Buddhist Monastery (NBM) – 107 Beaches Lane.

Date: Sunday, 7 May 2023
Location: 107 Beaches Lane, Newbury Victoria, 3458 Australia.
Time: 09:30 am – 2.30 pm (AEST)

In the morning there will be Dhamma Talk by Ajahn Brahm followed by pindapatha and offering lunch dana to the Monastics. Communal lunch will be at 11.30am.

Please bring ready-to-eat food to share with the monastics and the lay community. No food preparation and reheating available.

In the afternoon, we will have the following activities:

Buddha Statue Bathing Ceremony
Flower Offering Ceremony.
NBM Open Day – Walking Tours of Sangha House
and NBM Stage 2A project site
Meet & Greet session with Ajahn Brahm
“Shave for Peace” of two female devotees by Ayya Upekkha

It is a compulsory requirement to register to attend the Vesak Day Celebration event at NBM. This will greatly assist us in the planning of the event.
